2024 - April 22 - Culver Town Council Updated on Community Crossings Matching Grant Projects

The Culver Town Council members were notified last week that the town was awarded
$284,923.50 in Community Crossings Matching Grant funds.
Those funds will be used to pave Ohio Street from
Mill to Davis,
Mill Street from Main to Plymouth
Mill Street from State Road 17 to Main Street,
Prado Street from Peru Court to Main,
Madison Street from Slate to Clymax,
Ohio Street from Marmont to Mill,
Academy Road from School to Slate,
Bradley Court and
Harding Court.
The town will need to provide a match.
The council will soon be advertising for bids and will open and award those bids in
upcoming public meetings.

The Culver Town Council members approved a bid for Community Crossings Matching Grant
paving projects when they met Wednesday, June 26.
The council members opened bids during their regular meeting June 13. Two bids were received.
E&B Paving submitted a bid of $327,700 and Phend and Brown submitted a bid of $259,620.
Town Manager Kevin Danti recommended the bid be awarded to Phend and Brown in the amount of
$259,620. The local match will be $64,905. The council unanimously approved the bid as presented.
The paving project areas include
Academy Road from School to State,
Bradley Court,
Harding Court,
Mill Street from State Road 17 to Main Street,
Mill Street from Main to Plymouth,
Prado from Peru Court to Main Street,
Madison Street from Slate to Clymax,
Ohio Street from Marmont to Mill, and
Ohio Street from Mill to Davis.
